normally. stress relief for me comes in the shape of hanging out at the dive shop or being in the water.

with the problems that i have been having with my ears, this relief hasnt been available to me for a couple of weeks.

i got this article sent to me by someone who thought i needed to realise that i might be about to crack;

Brain Teaser for Stress

Here is a very quick test to determine your stress level. Read the following description completely before looking at the picture.

The picture below was used in a case study on stress levels at St. Mary’s Hospital. Look at both dolphins jumping out of the water. The dolphins are identical. A closely monitored, scientific study revealed that, in spite of the fact that the dolphins are identical, a person under stress would find differences between the two dolphins. The more differences a person finds between the dolphins, the more stress that person is experiencing.

Look at the photograph, and if you find more than one or two differences, you may want to take a vacation or at least get a massage.

yes well.  very funny i thought.  then, late one night whilst stumbling, i found a much better solution to my problems.
apparently this is all the rage in the physcological chairs and couches.

1. Picture yourself near a stream in the mountains.

2. Birds are softly chirping in the cool mountain air.

3. No one knows your secret place.

4. You are in total seclusion from the hectic place called the world.

5. The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

6. The water is crystal clear.

7. You can easily make out the face of the person you are holding under the water.

See. You’re smiling already.

Next time you are out on the town and need a feed but can’t afford the taxi as well…

Walk to the nearest Domino’s,
Call them up and place an order,
And when they go to deliver it,
Catch a ride home with them.
